Diane Powers

Diane PowersIt’s been an honor to be part of the St. Vincent’s/RUMC family since 1986. I served on the board of Bailey Seton Hospital and when that closed I joined many committees at St. Vincent’s, most importantly serving as chairperson of the Bell Society until the merger. Now I am a proud member of the Richmond University Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors.

My late husband, Frank, was very involved as well. He was on the hospital’s Board from 1987 until his passing in 2008. He was the board Treasurer during the campaign while the hospital was being renovated and chaired numerous committees. He was also involved with St Vincent’s in Manhattan.

From the senior leadership to staff, I have appreciated their professionalism, kindness, care and so much more. I always express my appreciation in words, but to continue the wonderful work for our community, it is important to support the hospital financially. That is why I have for 36 years. It is amazing to see the progress and the vision of the future.
